Goat Milk Soap

If you have dry itchy skin, it may be worth a try to use Goat Milk Soap. Goat Milk Soap is a great idea for any skin type. I also offer a few other types of soap.

Some of the benefits of goat milk on the skin are:

1. Gentle on the skin. Goat milk has the same PH as human skin. It does not disturb the protective layer of the skin.

2. Has lactic acid which equals moisture. Increases the production of ceramides which is like mortar between skin cells, which keeps moisture in and bacteria/ allergens out.

3. Goat milk contains fatty acids that help to repair the skin barrier, and probiotics which encourage growth of normal skin flora.

Please keep in mind that my products are handmade and will have little variances in shade, scent, size, etc.

I will have an assortment of unscented, scented with fragrance, and scented with essential oil product.

Fragrances are synthetic and are phthalate and paraben free. I use the lightest recommended amount.

Essential Oils are pure. The scent is light.

I use a variety of high quality oils and butters. Unless otherwise noted, there are a variety of oils and/or butters used in each recipe. Let me know if you have any allergies.

Basic Goat Milk Recipe: olive, coconut, castor (aids in sudsing), canola, and sweet almond oils

All soaps made with goat milk or goat milk powder , unless otherwise noted.

All hard soaps need lye to harden the oils, and is totally safe after the soap is done processing.

Sodium lactate is a liquid salt which helps to harden the bar, and is used in most of my soaps.

Goat milk soap cures out a creamy light tan color.

Hot process soap tends to look a little more rustic and cures out to be a little more dark tan.

The soap lathers well.
