All dams of kids are vaccinated with CDT before kidding.
Babies will have received a CDT vaccination and booster. It is given behind the left shoulder and can cause a lump which should gradually dissipate.
They will also be disbudded, tattooed, and in most cases microchipped.
I have gone to great lengths to get my goats from reputable breeders.
